Here you continue to learn Mandarin Chinese words that are formed by.

1 实现(shí​xiàn= to realize) and 现实(xiàn​shí=reality)

Example:

A. 为了(wèi​le)实现(shíxiàn)梦想(mèngxiǎng),我(wǒ)应该(yīng​gāi)怎么(zěn​me)做(zuò)？

B:你(nǐ)应该(yīng​gāi)努力(​nǔ​lì)学习(xué​xí)，提高(tí​gāo)自己(zì​jǐ)的(de)学习(xué​xí)成绩(chéng​jì)，取得(qǔ​dé)好(hǎo)成绩(chéng​jì)。

A. 看来(kàn​​lái)你(nǐ)很(hěn)现实(xiànshí)。

2. 部队(bù​duì= army) and 队部(duì​bù= headquarters)

Example:

我们(wǒ​men)建议(jiàn​yì)这(zhè)支(zhī)部队(bù​duì)的(de)队部(duì​bù)设在(shè​zài)哈尔滨市(Hā​’ěr​bīn​shì​)南岗区(Nán​gǎng​qū)。

3. 肉食(ròu​shí= carnivorous) and食肉(shí​ròu= carnivorous)

Example:

A: 猫(māo​)是(shì)肉食(ròu​shí) (or食肉(shí​ròu))性(xìng)动物(dòng​wù), 为什么(wèi​shén​me​)会(huì)吃(chī)草(cǎo)呢(ne)？

B: 哪里(nǎ​lǐ)知道(zhī​dào)，我(wǒ)不是(bù​shì)猫(māo​)。

C: 据我所知(jù​wǒ​suǒ​zhī)有些(yǒu​xiē)猫(māo​)通过(tōng​guò)吃(chī)某些(mǒu​xiē)植物(zhí​wù)来(lái)给(gěi)自己(zì​jǐ)治病(zhì​bìng)。

4. 人情(rén​qíng=social relationship) and 情人(qíng​rén=lover)

Example:

A: 情人(qíng​rén)和(hé)人情(rén​qíng)有关联(yǒu​guān​lián)吗(ma)？

B它们(tā​men)只(zhǐ)在(zài)一线之间(yī​xiàn​zhī​jiān​)。

5. 名人(míng​rén=celebrity) and 人名(rén​míng=personal name)

Example:

那些(nà​xiē)名人(míng​rén)的(de)人名(rén​míng)常常(cháng​cháng)被(bèi)信手(xìn​shǒu)拈(niān)来(lái)。

6. 故事(gù​shi=story) and 事故(shì​gù=accident)

Example:

a.不(bù)文明(wén​míng)开车(kāi​chē)致(zhì)事故(shì​gù)多(duō)。

b. 听(tīng)了(le)你的(nǐde)故事(gùshi)真的(zhēnde)让(ràng)人(rén) 很(hěn)难过(nán​guò)。

7. 上海(Shàng​hǎi=Shanghai (municipality, central east China)) and 海上(hǎi​shàng=on top of the sea)

Example:

上个星期(shàng​gè​xīng​qī)，我(wǒ)坐(zuò)船(chuán)去(qù)上海(Shàng​hǎi)。在(zài)海上(hǎi​shàng)，看(kàn)到(dào​)了(le)一(yī)条(tiáo)魚(yú)游(yóu)得(de)好(hǎo)快(kuài)。
