“Beauty” or “beautiful” in Chinese is 美丽(měilì). Here you learn some common Chinese words related to beauty.
1. 口红(kǒuhóng) lipstick
2. 眼影(yǎnyǐng) eyeshadow
3. 化妆品(huàzhuāngpǐn) cosmetic
4. 化妆(huàzhuāng) to put on makeup
Example:
最近(zuìjìn)我(wǒ)买(mǎi)了(le)化妆品(huàzhuāngpǐn), 一(yī)只(zhī)粉红(fěnhóng)口红(kǒuhóng)和(hé)一(yī)盘(pán)眼影(yǎnyǐng)，我(wǒ)从来(cónglái)没(méi)化妆(huàzhuāng)过(guo)，想(xiǎng)请(qǐng)教(jiāo)下(xià)。我(wǒ)真(zhēn)不(bù)知道(zhīdào)从何(cónghé)下手(xiàshǒu)。
