Hebrew Course : Beginners 101

Goals and rationale

This Hebrew course aims to provide students with the basic tools and knowledge needed to read Hebrew without the help of vowels (dots); to understand basic texts; to be able to write (type) short basic sentences and to communicate verbally using very basic Hebrew vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure.

The acquisition of a language is a cumulative process. At each stage of learning, students develop greater depth of knowledge, understanding and skills. This Hebrew course is structured in such a way as to strike the right balance between development of passive language skills (listening and reading) and active ones (writing and conversation), by intertwining relevant frontal, group and self study sessions.
